Pineapple Bitter Gourd Chicken Soup helps reduce body heat and allows a smoother digestion process. Bitter gourd, also known as bitter melon, contains various nutrients like iron, magnesium, potassium, and vitamin A. It also has twice the amount of calcium compared to spinach and beta-carotene of broccoli. Though not favored by many people, the bitterness of it helps in repairing our pancreas which cleanses our body system.

Ingredients
1/2 a chicken
8 cups of water
1 pc of large-sized bitter gourd
1/3 of pineapple
15g of anchovies
4 slices of Bentong ginger
 
Cooking Method
  1. Blanch chicken with boiling water.
  2. Add chicken, sliced bitter gourd, sliced pineapple flesh, anchovies, and ginger slices into a bowl of water.
  3. After the soup is boiled, turn to low heat and continue boiling for 30 minutes then serve.
